Kolber is from Pennsylvania and earned her Master's Degree at the University of Miami. She started her professional career as a video editor at CBS Sports in New York City. She took home a Sports Emmy while working at WTVJ-TV, Miami. She also worked at WPLG-TV Miami and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. In 1993, she joined ESPN and was picked as one of the initial anchors of ESPN2 when it was introduced at the time. After working for ESPN2 in the following three years Fox Sports hired her. In 1999 she returned to ESPN and currently serves as host of the show 'Monday night Countdown'.
